The Product:
Reusable Non-Medical Barrier Face Masks
The Brief:
Iceland were looking for a face mask which could be given to all of their retail and Head Office staff as an extension of their current uniform. Iceland wanted to consider a cost-effective solution that was better for the environment.
The Challenge:
The mask needed to be a Pantone colour matched mask with logo, which would be comfortable and breathable for the staff to wear, as they would be wearing them for long periods of time. They also needed them as quickly as possible, as they were conscious that the pandemic was not slowing down.
The Solution:
Our reusable non-medical barrier face mask was the perfect solution for Iceland. The masks could be pantone matched to the client’s required colour, they have high breathability and have an antimicrobial treatment.
The treatment prevents microbes from growing even without washing, which means it remains 99% effective, even after the recommended 50 washes. The easy ear-loop adjusters also meant they were a one-size-fits all solution, so there were no worries of the mask not being suitably sized for any of the staff.
The Results:
The order arrived at the perfect time to allow Iceland to roll the product out, in line with the beginning of the change in government legislation (which stipulated that all staff and visitors in a retail environment had to wear a face mask).
Each member of staff received 2 masks in each package, across every Iceland Foods and The Food Warehouse stores in the UK. The combination of timely delivery with the perfect product solution resulted in a larger repeat order within a few weeks.
